CONFIGURATIONS
The standard two-pole plug for Class II apparatus is generally known as Euro flat plug. This plug is probably the most common international plug fitting into any power outlet provided with 4.00 - 4.80 mm contacts with a center-to-center distance of 19 mm between each other and is used in European countries with the exception of the UK and Ireland. In addition, the plug is used in Turkey, Middle East countries, various countries in Africa and South America and many developing countries. In general, the use of this plug is restricted to Class II apparatus up to 2.5 A. The plug is not polarized.
